A majority of the materials received
into our facilities at Fox Electronics
are in finished goods form. Whether
these goods are complete computer
systems, medical equipment, file
servers, laptops, monitors, printers,
or networking hubs, they have to go
through some form of low level tear down before being
introduced into the proper recycling or waste stream. In our
Tear Down Department, we use high speed pneumatic
tools coupled with assembly line efficiencies for the
process of dismantling finished goods and capital
equipment.
The printed circuit boards removed from the equipment
processed in our Tear Down Department are then
transferred to our Integrated Circuit Recycling Department
for component retrieval. Any re-marketable peripherals
removed from equipment during tear down are transferred
to our Testing Department for data eradication or testing
certification, and then on to Inventory Control for input into
our database. Lastly this product is re-introduced back
onto the open market, provided there is no mandatory
destruction associated with the said peripherals.
