Integrated Circuit Recycling
from Finished Product Printed Circuit Boards

Our flagship service, Fox Electronics’ Integrated Circuit Recycling Division was started in 1984 for the sole purpose of recycling integrated circuits from scrap, down-revision, obsolete, and manufacturers’ reject printed circuit boards.

What first began as an idea on paper has now evolved into an operation that removes, refurbishes, repackages, and resells over 2,000,000 integrated circuits per month. We handle everything from the most expensive MICROPROCESSORS to the lowest value TTL components. Additionally, we provide a higher return on scrap printed circuit boards than precious metal refineries. This is due to the fact that the component value of the remarketable IC’s on printed circuit boards is far greater than the precious metal value. And on top of that you still receive the precious metal value from the printed circuit board after the component retrieval process is completed.

We process a vast array of integrated circuits for resale into the worldwide market place, whether it be thru-hole, surface mount or mixed on board technology, we process it, any package type. We then remarket the recycled IC’s to hundreds of brokers and manufacturers worldwide. The IC’s that are recycled from a customer’s printed circuit boards show up as line items on the Retainment Report which is part of the Settlement Report.
